* Project managed requirements-to-market launch of new SecureLogin (single sign-on) product in 6 months and under budget. Became one of Novell's top 10 revenue products.
* Managed development and implementation of foundational security protocol (SSL/TLS) on products and services on multiple platforms. Cut costs for design, implementation, testing, and maintenance by unifying software and process across all platforms.
* Senior member of company-wide project team tasked with evaluating and selecting new defect tracking and source code control systems to replace inefficient legacy systems.
* Championed team training in CMU/SEI's software development processes resulting in 25% fewer defects in code developed by the team.

Lead role in architecture, design, and implementation of security services for Netware and Netware clients. Technologies included authentication, SSL/TLS, single sign-on, and controlled modular cryptographic services. Evaluated security and architecture. Developed software for security products, Netware operating system, and network management services. Mentored junior software engineers and QA engineers.
* Developed tests to prove Netware's readiness for C2 security certification. Rigorous certification process resulted in heightened security awareness among core OS engineering team and remediation of several product defects.
* Liaison between Novell and HP teams to port Netware from Intel to PA-RISC hardware. Resulted in processor-independent version of Netware for multiple hardware platforms.
* Developed and launched client and server-side quality assurance tests and test automation tools for Netware 3.11. Contributed to the most successful release of Netware ever.
